چکیده
The bacterial leaf blight (BLB) caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. (Xoo) is one of the most serious rice diseases, causing huge yield losses worldwide. Several technologies and approaches have been opted to reduce damage; however, these had limited success. Recently, scientists focusing their efforts on developing efficient environmentally friendly nanobactericides for controlling diseases in fields. In present study, a scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission (TEM), confocal laser (CLSM) were utilized investigate mode actions ginger EOs cell structure Xoo. cells grow abnormally, resulting an irregular form with hollow layers, whereas dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) treatment showed typical rod shape Xoo cell. Ginger restricted growth production biofilms reducing number generated as indicated CLSM. Due instability, poor solubility, durability EOs, nanoemulsions approach was used, glasshouse trial performed assess efficacy BLB disease control. vitro antibacterial activity developed promising at different concentration (50–125 µL/mL) tested. concentration-dependent. There significant recorded higher concentrations. A revealed that managed suppress severity effectively. Treatment 125 ?L/mL best based suppression index, AUDPC value, reduction (DR), protection index (PI). Furthermore, findings plant growth, physiological features, parameters significantly enhanced compared positive control treatment. conclusion, results essential oils loaded-nanoemulsions are alternative synthetic antibiotics suppressing regulating disease, enhancing under trial.

Genetic Diversity of Bacterial Leaf Blight Disease in a Set of Rice Landraces of West Bengal
Bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB) is a major disease of rice in tropical monsoon and sub tropical rice growing regions of the world. BLB substantially reduces the yield of the crop affecting food security. Rice is the second most important food crop, after wheat, in the world; hence the disease must be effectively controlled. As chemical control is impractical due to unavailability of specific bacter...

Northern leaf blight (NLB), caused by Exserohilum turcicum (Pass.) K. J. Leonard & E. G. Suggs), is a prevalent disease of sweet corn (Zea mays L.) in the United States. Fungicides are used routinely to prevent severe epidemics of NLB on nearly 20,000 ha of supersweet (sh2) hybrids grown each spring in southern and central Florida. Epidemics of NLB on sweet corn grown in the midwestern United S...

Rice bacterial blight caused by Xanthamonos oryzae pv. oryzae is one of the most destructive bacterial diseases of rice in some areas of rice cultivation in the world, especially in the tropics of Asia. The low efficiency of disease management methods, especially chemical methods, has led to more research on recognizing resistant cultivars and understanding resistance mechanisms through the stu...
